Ok so an interesting thing happened to me. Everything was working fine and then just suddenly internet explorer screwed up. I was watching a movie on amazon, after the movie was over I left for a few minutes. When I got back there was a notice up, the typical IE error and restart message, but it is just a endless loop. The moment I click close it reopens IE and the error comes up again. it doesn't provide any information about the problem. It doesn't matter how many times I close it just keeps looping and the only way to stop it is to restart the computer. Cannot stop the loop from task manager either.
At least I happened to have Win 10 installed on one of my other hard drives so I could get online to try and find a way to fix it.
I've disabled and re-enabled IE from the windows features and no change.
Any suggestions as to what to try next? oh and everything else is working fine.

My roommates windows 7 machine / IE 11 just did the same thing about 2 hours ago. I reverted back to a system restore point from this morning and it worked fine after that. The wild part is that mine just took a dump about 10 minutes ago with the same infinite loop!!!! GRRRRRRR!!!
Thankfully I have multiple browsers installed. Restoring advanced settings does not help, nor does completely resetting IE in control panel - internet options - advanced tab... so don't even both b/c I already tried that first. Even rebooted after resettings... Microsoft.... what have you done now? lmao Best of luck mate! DAJ ^_^
