I wanna know if my Mobo is compatible with a 4GB DDR3 kit (2x2GB) at 1600 mhz.
my Cpu is a AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 260 Processor 3.20 GHz
my Mobo is a asrock 960gc-gs fx

Asrock website Noted this :
Note1: The mainboard supports DDR3-2100 MHz DIMMs only when you install a AM3+ cpu to the mainboard.
Note2: AMD FX series CPU on this motherboard support up to DDR3 1866 MHz as its standard memory frequency.
Note3: When overclocking, some AMD CPU models may not support DDR3 1600 MHz or higher frequency DIMMs.
Note4: Due to CPU spec, AMD 100 and 200 series CPUs support up to DDR3 1066 MHz. With ASRock design, this motherboard can support DDR3 1333 MHz

Solution
The motherboard doesn't play in here so much as the Athlon X2 CPUs are rated up to 1066 9you might push 1333 sticks with it by OCing the CPU) - so would be best to look at 1066 DRAM
