My external hdd isnt showing in my computer,diskpart nor disk management?

hello. i was copying a file from my hdd onto the laptop but it got stuck and couldnt cancel, so i plug it out. when i put it back, it wasnt recognized.Usually when i plug it this happens: it blinks slowly for around 10 seconds, then very fast, and the compute recognizes it then it stops blinking. now, it blinks slowly, then directly stops blinking. if i put my ear on it, i can hear the fan working. what should i do

Hi there toto1234,

A faulty cable could be causing the issue you are facing. So, it may be a good idea to start the troubleshooting process with changing it. It will not hurt to try the drive on another system as well.
If the issue persists, you may need to take the drive out of the enclosure as the drive could be perfectly fine while the enclosure went bad. Just make sure that the drive is not hardware encrypted. Also, keep in mind that this may void the warranty.
