Hello
First of all, I'm a beginner and i don't know much about computers yet (not a complete noob)

I got an Nvidia Geforce 9600GT card from my friend (he doesn't need it anymore)
So i was wondering can i install this on my PC?
Here are my specs:

Intel Pentium G3220 Dual core 3.0GHZ
GIGABYTE H81M-S Motherboard
4GB RAM
500GB HDD
Intel HD 2000/3000 Integrated graphics

I also got one of those 6 pin to 2 molex power supply cable things so the problem is how do i install it??Or is it even compatible?

Help me please..

Do you know if the card is the eco variant or a higher powered one? Most likely it will draw power through the PCI-E bus but that's capped to 75w so if you are really stressing the card, you'll need the auxiliary power connection. The connectors from...

I use it for very casual gaming, mostly for internet surfing. I don't really need it but since i got it for free, I would like to use it.
I have a 420W PSU..

Sorry for my bad English :S

Though i found 3 places where i could connect it- 2 are from my hard drive and 1 is from the DVD drive.

So should i connect both of them to my HDD then?
Or would it work if i just insert it in the graphics port?
And how can i keep track of the temperature and stuff so I know if it's working or not?

Just insert the GPU in the graphics port (PCIE) and it will work right away. You can download software like Msi Afterburner to check temperatures. :) I don't know if i was just lucky, but i managed to overclock my 9500GT 1 ghz more than stock, and it managed to play BF4 at low settings, 30 fps :-D Temperetaures were under 90 C.
