Hello everyone, I have a Asus z-87 pro motherboard and I would like to know if a gigabyte g1 gaming 970 is gonna be compatible in SLI with a inno3d ichill x4 airboss ultra, I know they have the same clock and boost speed but will it be stable? Is it gonna have compatibility issues?
Thanks in advance

No, they'll work fine together. You can mix-and-match brands for SLi, so long as they have the same core chip. The superior card of the two will just be limited to the clock and VRAM speed of the other one.

As both of those cards are GTX970s they have the same GPU chip, so will work together in SLi. The Gigabyte will just be very slightly limited.

If you use MSI's Afterburner, you can click a box to have the cards run at the same speeds if you want. Also, my Gigabyte G1 970 boosts up to 1392 by itself, and OC's to 1500 without any issue.

You can mix/match any cards you want, as long as they're the same model (970 with 970). There will be no compatibility issues.
