Solution
A perennial question, here is my stock answer:

a) Run your games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.

b) Limit your cpu, either by reducing the OC, or, in windows power management, limit the maximum cpu% to something like 70%.
Go to control panel/power options/change plan settings/change advanced power settings/processor power management/maximum processor state/
This will simulate what a lack of cpu power will do.
Conversely what a 30% improvement in core speed might do.

You could also experiment with removing one core. You can do this in the windows...

You could also experiment with removing one core. You can do this in the windows msconfig boot advanced options option. set the number of processors to less than you have.
This will tell you how sensitive your games are to the benefits of many cores.

If your FPS drops significantly, it is an indicator that your cpu is the limiting factor, and a cpu upgrade is in order.

It is possible that both tests are positive, indicating that you have a well balanced system, and both cpu and gpu need to be upgraded to get better gaming FPS.

DayZ is single threaded. AMD cores are slow so a cpu upgrade is likely better done with an intel coy. That will also require a motherboard change too.

More likely, you will want to change out your graphics card which is puny by today's standard. A GTX750ti will be about 5x more capable.

DayZ is a really cpu intensive game
As i think you currently own a FX 4300 you must get something better than 8320E or if you could change the mobo too and go with intel but that will cost you more $$, I think you bought a prebuild computer, well just sort of wasted some of your money as prebuilds dont stand with their names

what intel would you recommend

What is your budget?
Changing to intel will require a lga1150 motherboard change also.

For $65 G3258.
For $120, i3-4160
For $190, i5-4460
For $240, i5-4690K and a slightly more expensive Z97 motherboard so you can overclock.
For $320, i7-4790K
Past that, nothing is better.
