Hi
Please can any one advise should Crucial Ballistix Sport :-
2 x 4GB DDR3 1600 (PC3 - 12800)-CL9@1.5V
work with
2 x 8GB DDR3 1600 (PC3 - 12800)-CL9@1.5V
on a ASUS P8Z77-V mother board I am having issues that it has stated cycling ie stop start which indicates it is checking the memory but never appears to find a solution. If I remove one memory module it will fire up to windows login any help would be appreciated.

Solution
Assuming the DIMM's are not faulty, and if not already done, try a 4 GB DIMM in slot 1, 8 GB DIMM in slot 2, 4 GB DIMM in slot 3, and 8 GB DIMM in slot 4.

If above already done, or problems persist, swap DIMM's, so - 8 GB DIMM in slot 1, 4 GB DIMM in slot 2, 8 GB DIMM in slot 3, and 4 GB DIMM in slot 4.

Still have problems? If you can get into BIOS, try increasing DRAM voltage to 1.55 V. And try swapping DIMM's in different slots, as per above, also.

Still have problems? In BIOS, try increasing VCCSA voltage by about 0.05 V. And rearrange DIMM's in different slots, as above also, if necessary.
