Hxi 850-----platinum rated, fluid dynamic bearing fan (less noise)
Seasonic SS850KM3----gold rated and ball bearing Sanyo Fan
Both come for the same price in India. Which one should I prefer to buy?

Can anyone on the forum give me a head to head face off between these 2 models?

Corsair's HXi is a lot superior PSU in terms of the offerings----a new technology for the fan and platinum efficiency but I am unable to kick out the Seasonic's SS850KM3 either because of its reputation in building power supplies

Can you please compare it as a whole package not on a single feature.
The HXi offers platinum efficiency and a new FDB fan that makes 18 db noise at 90% load.

I can have it shipped to india but the shiiping +tax would exceed the price of hxi 850/x 850 with a very large margin. (Newegg ships to India)
As a second reason the local rma service does not hold for such products.

I have a 2600K cpu, 2 zotac amp omega in sli , a WD black hard drive, a 120 Gig kingston ssd drive and looking to watercool both CPU and GPU in future.
Will a 850 be sufficient for all this.
Points to note----Zotac amp omega 980 is overclocked to 1200(base) and 1300(boost)

Will 850W be sufficient to comfortably run this configuration for extended duration.

Yes, it will, I just bought an EVGA Supernova G2 850W PSU (the one I posted, it actually arrived today I just haven't installed it yet), it's replacing an EVGA Supernova B 750W PSU I have now). I'm able to run all I have plus 7 fans and a digital fan controller and the rest of my hardware (you can see the specs of my rig in my signature) with a 750W PSU, I got an 850W so I can overclock with more stability, and because the PSU I just bought has a single 12v rail, and is gold rated AND has a 10 year warranty. Not only that but its capacitors are made in Japan.

Even if it would cost a bit more, the PSU I posted is the best 850W PSU there is, IMO. Just make sure whatever you decide on, it has a single 12v rail.

and to quote SR-71 Blackbird from another thread:

The EVGA is superior to the Seasonic.

The EVGA is made by the best = Super Flower.
