So I run windows 8.1 on a pretty new computer its a year old and has a gtx 760 gpu blah blah blah anyways When I run most games I run at 90% memory usage which is stupid I look at my processes and the games usually only use 2.5gb's - 3gbs of ram IF that 3gbs is only when Im playing planetside 2 anyways I have 8gbs of ram and there is no reason for anything else to be taking up the rest of the 5gbs of ram Does windows 8.1 really use this much memory? I noticed about 3 months ago out of nowhere in my processes called Service Host: Local System (12) etc there is usually above 12 of them sometimes up to 20 what is with this why did these show up out of nowhere and use about 30mb of ram each? I was thinking about just down grading to windows 7 because 8.1 is fucking garbage on using my ram in just useless shit that does nothing for me. Anyone with more experience in this matter I would love some help thanks
