Hello guys!

I've been struggling trying to get my crossfire setup working.

My second graphics card will not be detected.

GPU - Sapphire Radeon HD 6970 x2
PSU - Corsair HX750W
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth P67

System: Windows 8.1 64bit

What I've tried as far as troubleshooting goes:
- Flashed to newest available BIOS
- Tried the GPUs in both PCI-E slots both of them work in the beige connector, but in the black connector it seems on and off.
- Tried the Crossfire bridge on both available slots
- Reset CMOS
- Uninstall and reinstall GPU drivers with latest available drivers
- Tried to remove my wireless network adapter, didn't change anything.

I must say that I'm getting pretty frustrated by how this just seems impossible to fix.
Does anyone have some possible solutions, other than purchasing a new motherboard?

Solution
If the slot is defunct, then there is really nothing to do, and based on your description, it sounds like the slot is failing. I am afraid you will have to buy a new one.
