I recently built my computer,
but I can't seem to boot my USB flash drive with windows 7.
I gave it highest priority on my boot order,
both the EUFI prefix and not.

After a little while I can't even see my SSD and HDD in the boot prioty list anymore.

My hardware is listed in the link below.
http://tweakers.net/gallery/657262#tab:wenslijst

I use:
- Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 5
- Seagate ST2000DX001, 2TB
- Samsung 850 EVO 120GB
- And more, which I think is irrelevant.
If you think its neccesary, check the link please.

If you have any ideas I'd really appreciate it if you could share them with me.

Solution
So you set the USB drive as top priority in the boot seequence but did you see a setting for USB Legacy Support and switch it on? If you, there's no power to the USB ports until an operating system cuts in.

I don't kow wether i've seen one or not, but my keyboard works fine.
I have seen anoption in BIOS where i can select either UEFI/LEGACY or both at the same time

Both the USB and the keyboard are hooked up to the motherboard.

I tried formatting my USB flash drive and then put windows on it again.
It worked this time. Probably shouldn't have just removed the files and put in the OS installation :/
