i hit cmos button asrock extream4 gen3, does show start screen , but can not get into uefi set up , or boot , so f2 will hit get beep , f11 button will hit get nothing ,i been threw this before 2 years ago . had to hold start button down , or something like that . but i wasted an hour doing this . help .

i looked up my old notes, i had this cmos issue 2 years ago . the solution for asrock is to press cmos 5 times and remove all connections to hard drives and dvds. then you get into bios. then i had to select in bios boot from dvd with win 8 and select ahdi . i got win . and then i connected my boot drive set to raid and then booted . after that i put all back . and this is were i get surge . what a mess , for just hitting cmos . this pc running great for some time . but cmos is such a pain . what function does it do , all i see is problem .
