I'm upgrading my motherboard and CPU and presently have 6GB of RAM (3x DDR3 1600mhz) from my old board but my new one will have four slots instead of 6, so I have 2 questions,
1. Is it ok to add a different make of RAM (same speed obviously) to round it upto 8GB?
2. If so, what about mixing sizes, ie, adding a 4GB stick to make a total of 10gb, etc?
