I recently started having this problem where my PC will slow down after 10-15 minutes of use. This doesn't affect any of my , say , non-intensive activities like using photoshop or browsing the internet , etc.

But if I'm 3-D modelling or playing games I get a huuuge fps drop. For eg , in Call of duty 4 I usually get about 100+ fps easily , but after 10-15 mins it suddenly drops to 10-15 fps or even lesser. This happens with all my games and I even get lag when 3-D modelling.

Only if i restart the PC , then after booting back up it runs properly for another 10-15 minutes and the same problem.

Someone told me it may be due to overheating of the CPU , so here are my core temperatures during this slowed down state ( I'm not sure if these are considered as overheating ? ) -

I have 8GB DDR3 RAM

EDIT : These are the stats when my PC is in it's slowed don state WHILE playing a game ( call of duty 4 )

Mind if I ask you to do something? I was hoping you could temporarily disable your antivirus program and use your computer to see if it still slows down. If the same problem persists... then you can eliminate that as the cause.

Yup. But now it doesn't matter becuase my GPu started malfunctioning alongwith my power supply so I'm just upgrading to a better rig. Thanks for your concern though :)
