Hi I recently bought the amd fx4300 processor and realized that it is not compatible with the "h81m-p33 lga1150 motherboard".

You bought an AMD CPU for an Intel motherboard. Not only are they not compatible they are different manufacturers. You are better off returning the CPU and keeping that board and buying an Intel processor.

Any i5 or i7 will be faster than anything AMD makes unless you are doing video processing and rendering.
