Hello Fanboys(and girls)!

Please flood this thread with your biased opinions and disdain for the opposite brand, I really need to be convinced which side to go to:

AMD
or
Intel

I have included a monitor which my friend(whom I am building this computational device for) needs and also AC Wifi of some form. He uses the stock router from bright house, which I am not sure uses AC or whether that is the correct sentence structure to state that in.

It is going to be for gaming mostly, 1080p, ultra, etc. Ideally I am trying to keep it stronger than MY current build which is kinda old and crappy

Also I would prefer not to have Rebates factored into the builds. The ones i posted were both around $905 without rebates.

Thank you for the help!

Rockie_ Thank you for your submission on my topic! i really love the build you posted but it's a bit out of my price range, I would not be using rebates(I know it's dumb not to but I would be submitting the build to him and he wouldn't send them in) I have now updated the post to include this. Though if you can work something up again that would be helpful! ;D Also please note: he needs a Wireless adapter of some sort.

Then try

Oh sorry, that is the price without rebates and including shipping. So the XFX is better quality? I will add the PSU, what are some good GPU brands to look at? I just chose the PNY as a place holder tbh.
