Installing WIN7 on SSD

Hi,
I'm expecting to receive SSD in few days.
I would like to be sure I will install all without any problems etc.

For first, I will run Windows 7 CD on my HDD just to format it by the Windows 7 CD I won't be installing Windows 7 on it.
Then I will unplug HDD from computer and I will plug in SSD then before running CD with WIN 7 OS I will set AHCI in Bios. After that, I will run Win 7 installation normally on my SSD.

Is this enought for it and will it work?
I know I will receive some disc with a program for it?(what is it and what for)
Do I need to change/set anything else?

I would like to add my HDD as a storage, I have seen video on YT so it shouldn't be a problem.
I know there is need to change the priority of the storage in BIOS, but I'm not sure how to, but I will find it later if I will install SSD without problems.

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
Motherboard: MSI B85-G43 (MS-7816)

Do I need to install drivers for AHCI/SATA (not sure how it's called) for my SSD before installation?

Yes, that is the way it should be done.

The Windows 7 that you purchased? Yes, it will come with an install DVD. Boot from this, and install on the SSD.

I mean that I won't use any programs to format this HDD, but I will do it within Windows 7 Installation where you are able to format disc/make partition etc.

I mean the CD disc that I will receive with SSD (if I will receive any)

1. There is no need to 'format' the HDD before.
Connect it after the install on the SSD, and then do it if necessary.

2. The disk that comes with the Samsung contains the Samsung Magician software. Testing, benckmarks, firmware updates, drive optimization, etc.

So I can download any firmware updates and drive optimization after installing windows 7 on SSD right?
Because I was reading that some people are installing it just before the installation of Windows 7, that's why im asking.

Yes. After the OS install is fine. The Samsung Magician application needs to be installed somewhere. Can't do that without the OS.
