Where to sell Custom PC

Hi, Today I am here to consult the ones who know PC's better than I do; The forum of Tom's Hardware. I was wondering where a good place to sell my PC is. The sooner I can sell it the better and it's always nice to have a good amount of pocket. Thank you, and I know this is probably in the wrong section, but I haven't really used this account much. Thank you all for your imput.

P.S. Sorry for the grammatical errors, I was in a rush to post this.

I concur... Craigslist is the best place to sell. However, don't make the same mistake so many others do by pricing it out of the atmosphere. You will have a better chance if you kept any of the original boxes/packaging/manuals of the components and if you sell it with valid copy of Windows with the Serial Key. You should put that info in your ad.

Okay, thank you all very much for saying that Craigslist is the best to sell my PC. I was wondering what the value of my PC might be now, and unfortunately I don't have the original boxes as SBMfromLA said/suggested. The specs are AMD FX-6300, BioStar TA970+, 1TB HDD(wiped,no OS), EVGA GTX 770 Superclocked, and a RaidMax Smilodon with a 750+ ThermalTake PSU that is 90+ Bronze. I'm thinking 650-700 is a fair to low price range for the PC.

Probably $100 for the CPU and board, $25 for the hdd, $200-250 for the GPU, case is subjective to the buyer. It might have been $300 new, but who knows if he's willing to pay that much or if he even likes it. I usually figure $50 for the case if it's a good one. I sold my Antec 300 for $20 1-2 years ago. 80+ bronze PSU is ~$40. Ram has help it's value so assuming you are selling 8GBs you can tack on another ~$60 or so. Assuming ram, ~$500 give or take. The less you ask, the faster it will sell.

i put an ad for it on craigslist and so far nothing has come up. i have priced it well below what it should be ($520) and nothing is coming up which is unfortunate... Is there another place that might be a good place to sell besides EBay, or is that everything. Thank you for your help as well. Sorry for any typos, im in overdrive mode with school right now. Term papers are great.

You don't really have it priced below, as I guessed $500 and you have it even higher then that. The FB for sale groups are a good idea. If you need it sold now, try pricing it at $350.

Tech sites have FS/FT sections, but they often have rules to prevent scamming. I don't know if you'd qualify. You can check them out though as it opens up the number of people who will see your ad. It will add the cost of shipping though. And the hassle of shipping.

well thank you for your input. I dont think i will go below 500 anytime soon. People are selling macs for around the same price and are much older and sell because of face value. Thank you for everything.

They sell because they are macs. Different eco system, different prices. If you need to sell this to get $500, it probably won't happen. You can try, and you shouldn't expect it to sell on the first day. (You'd need a great price for that to happen.) GLWS.

Local markets can also influence. My city is full of old people who don't use computers, poor people who can't afford computers, and college kids who bring their own. I feel your pain, I'm trying to sell my Antec 750W, so far no bites at $45. As I said, GLWS. To us both.
