Hi everyone, I ran into an issue after recently reinstalling Windows after getting an SSD. Pretty much everything went smoothly, except for one big issue. I have an internal 3tb hard drive that had been partitioned into 2TB (which was the N drive before reinstallation) and 1TB (O drive before reinstallation). After Windows was installed, all my hard drives showed up fine, EXCEPT for that second 1TB partition. The old N drive is still there, and still 2TB, and under Computer Management it lists that drive (Now the G drive) as 2048GB NTFS, healthy, everything's fine with it. Next to it is Unallocated space, total size of 746.52GB, which is where those files should be.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can recover the files that are in that space? Also, I can't entirely remember how much data was on there, but there's a good chance it was roughly the distance between what should be a remaining 1TB, and what it's telling me the size of that unallocated space is (746GB), so about 250GB of data sounds right. If there's any info, anything I can post to make this easier to answer, let me know. Thanks in advance!

I have a 3TB Seagate hard drive that (for some unknown reason) has the space partitioned like that too. If you also have a Seagate drive, it's really simple; you just have to install a utility from them that lets Windows see the 3rd partition.
