cpu : pentium G 2020
psu: cooler master elite 460 (rs-460-psar-j3 )

I want to get one of ( gtx 960-r9 270-r9 285 -gtx 660 ) Currently at 1280 * 720 or 1024 *768

to avoid bottleneck

and I will upgrade to i5 3340 in the future

the question is If i get gtx 960 with this specs on 1280 * 720 can i avoid bottle neck
until i will get i5 3340

thanks in advance

okay but it is just a solution until I will get i5 3340

and there is another question G2020 with r9 285 or r9 270 at 1024*768 and minmum settings just to avoid that bottle neck

Forget about the bottleneck you will still play your games at very good FPS it's just that the GPU will not run at 100% but still again you will get good FPS especially at that resolution.
Since you have a cooler master elite 460 power supply definitely get the GTX 960 that PS might probably not be enough for those R9 cards.

Good luck :)

Doesn't matter what CPU and GPU you select, you'll always have a bottleneck. Sometimes you'll bottleneck on the CPU, sometimes on the GPU, sometimes on the API or software implementation (which is effectively a CPU bottleneck in practice), sometimes on the Monitor refresh rate ;)

More powerful CPU's facilitate better performance (FPS).
More powerful GPU's facilitate better visual quality. (resolution, detail settings, etc).

Any CPU and GPU combination can be good if it meets your performance and visual quality goals without a lot of wasted resources. A ~$200 GPU for 720P would make sense if it were a 120-144hz display, and you were shooting for ultra-high FPS, but that would require a powerful CPU to achieve in most games. If your 720P display is a regular 60hz unit, then I wouldn't bother with anything beyond a GTX660 or R7 270.

Great but is the bottleneck affects on the hardware of the gpu or the specs

or it just affects on the performance i don't if the performance will go down until I will upgrade
I am Just worried about the black screen or any thing affects on the hardware

If I were you I would get the GTX 750 ti it's more than enough for that resolution and will give a great performance especially with that CPU, and by the time you get a new monitor the prices will go down and you can then grab something like the 970 or even one of the new R9 3xx series.

This card can also handle 1080p with absolutely no issues.

thanks for your reply

I'm looking forward to the future performance when i will upgrade
the cpu
so I decide to buy r9 270x and run it on medium setiings and 1280*720

Alright then one last suggesting since there's almost no price difference between the 270x and the 280 so you might want to consider the R9 280 it's slightly better.
Good luck ^^
