Windows 7 Desktop icons title showing on the right side of the icon

Hi

I recently installed Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, Service Pack 1.
I observed that the icon text appears on the right side of the icon while normally it is below the icon. I thought it is due to a theme but changing the theme did not change anything.

I looked around the forums but could not found any way to bring the text below the icon. If anyone have any idea of why is it happening, please let me know.

Vembutech is right. A third-party utility is the only way that can happen so you need to find it and change the relevant setting in it to place the icon text in it's default position.

One such utility is called "D-Color", so look for it in "All Programs" on your PC: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/display-desktop-icons-text-side-windows-7

The solution is to adjust the ICON width, horizontal and vertical spacing in Win7 Pro (64-bit), should work on any version.
Right click desktop->Personalize->(I'm using Windows 7 basic) Windows Color->Advanced Appearance Settings->
set the following
ICON = 32
Horizontal and Vertical Icon Spacing = 43
