is Corsair vs550 good for gtx 970 ?

Hi..

i have an i7-4790 , MSI H97 GAMING 3 motherbourd , MSI gtx 970.
and i have a Corsair VS550 PSU .. is it good for vidow card or should i get anther one for full performance ..
i might OC the card ,,

in 6:20 he said that the 6pin-8pin connecter is not good for a card that use two 6pin connecters like the gtx970.

That's not what he said. He said if it didn't have them you could use an adapter with a 4-pin molex, but it was better to have support for both PCI-E cables right out of the box.

The VS550 PSU is enough power for your system. Heavy overclocking is not recommended with this PSU.

Looking at the budget of i7 and GTX 970, he certainly can afford a Tier 1 or 2 quality PSU. Corsair VS series is worst PSU series from Corsair. Definitely not recommended with that build

lol .. actually i spant all my money and could not affored a butter PSU .. but i killed my neighbor and stole his money and bought CS600 ..
