Hello,

Novice pc builder here, built my gaming pc 2 years ago and I would like to upgrade either the cpu or gpu I just dont kow which one first and would my motherboard handle the upgrade. Any advice will be much appreciated.

CPU = Intel Core i5-3570K Quad-Core Processor 3.4 GHz 4 Core LGA 1155 - BX80637I53570K
GPU = EVGA GeForce GTX660 2048MB GDDR5 192-Bit
MOBO = Gigabyte Intel Z77 Dual Thunderbolt ATX Motherboard (GA-Z77X-UP4-TH)
PSU = Corsair CX Series 600 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Bronze ATX12V/EPS12V 552 Power Supply CX600M

Solution
i'd leave the cpu alone and upgrade the gpu to either a 960 or 970 budget depending. The newer cpus arent much stronger and i dont think its a worthwhile upgrade
