Hi all,

I want to build this as my first build, does it all go together and how could I improve it for same money?

I am trying to keep every component under £100 / $155 where possible

CASE - Raven
PSU - Strider 500w SFX-L
MOBO - ASUS Z97i- PLUS
CPU - ???
GPU - 750Ti
RAM - 8GB
COOLER - ???
FANS - ???
BOOT DRIVE - I want a M.2 128GB as my boot drive what would be compatible with this and has native boot support without tinkering?

Thanks in advance guys and gals, any advice would be appreciated

Solution
Do you already own a 750Ti? also what is your budget for the components you need? Do you want to overclock? Right now I would have to say a Pentium G3258 is your best bet and overclock it (probably to 4.7). You won't need case fans normally so spend some extra and get a nice cooler. I say maybe a Hyper 212 EVO.

.... I am trying to understand your budget. So you can only go up to £100 for each component. Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend that kind of budget. Things like CPUs will cost significantly more than things like cooler, fans, and RAM. What is your total budget?

Whats a good CPU that's not overkill for a 750Ti?

I was looking at that dual core for £50 it seems ok and nice and cheap. I dont have the Ti yet it seemed good value..
What do you think about a fx6300 build?

I am not sure if you can do a hackintosh with a G3258. But I think you are spending too much on your motherboard. You might want to go with a cheaper Z97 and then spend the extra in the GPU. Look at ASrock Z97 anniversary or pro 4. Those are usually at a good price. That way you can probably upgrade to a r9-280X.
