1080p video from a smaller screen to a bigger one

Maybe it's a silly question but I cant figure it out on my own.

My Chromebook has a resolution of 1366 x 768. If I play a 1080p video with it, then connect it to a Full HD TV via HDMI, it won't be 1080p, will it?

I'm not aware of the specific chromebook limitations, but the hardware certainly supports output at 1080p. You may need to disable your laptop display or change the settings so that it does not mirror your 1366x768 display.

If you keep the proper settings in Display properties, then it'd be Full HD.
