I have a http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z68%20Extreme4%20Gen3/
It will support the i7 3770k but according to toms Feb 2015 CPU chart its not worth the upgrade from my current i5 2500k. Its on the same tier.

I find it hard to believe that it is not worth the upgrade from sandy bridge to a haswell core according to Tom's. I would be going to ivy bridge with 2mb more cache .2 GHZ more and less watts used.
I can find them for about 240 on ebay used. Is it worth upgrading? I'm a heavy gamer. Arma 3, Dying light, etc.
I already have a 770 graphics card so I already put money into that.
8GB of ram also
