How Many Watts of power do I Need? And help.

I need to know if my PSU neededs more watts cause after I buy this rig I'm going to get another R9 280.

Suggestions of change to the rig are helpful.

I would go for a 750 watt PSU if you are considering on buying a second GPU. Anything below that could make it work really really hard.

Pc Part Picker states 592W if 2 x 280s. 750W will be more than enough.

Ok so I have use a calculator and it says 572w(for 2 x 280s)
so should I get a 600-700w PSU

Yes, unless you plan to upgrade in the future. My computer only needs 700 watts but I went ahead and bought a 1200 watt PSU since it was on sale.

The Seasonic listed above is a great choice but I would avoid the EVGA NEX models. We have a very good tier list here. You will want to stay with tier 2 and up for a dual GPU gaming system.

No. Tier 3 and should be lower since it failed in testing by HardOCP. The only Corsair units still worth buying are the HX/HXi and AX/AXi units.

Second Corsair to fail in testing. The RM 750 was the first.

The Corsair CX series are not recommended. They are known to be problematic. I would suggest a Seasonic or XFX power supply.

And you aren't reading the minimum power recommendations either. RealHardTechX maintains the most comprehensive power supply database on the internet. Trust their site. They say 800 watts minimum and since there are no real good 800 watt units so you should be looking at 850 watts models.
