Video card not working

Hi. Hope you can help me.

I bought video card (HD 7730) a couple of days ago. But the video card is not working, I looked in it's fan, it's not even rotating. After many tries of rebooting the computer, suddenly the video card was working and it was detected. I played games the whole night. Next morning, the video card is not working again, as well as it's fan. pls help

I suggest sending it in while your warranty on it lasts. If that doesn't work, take it in to a reputable tech repair store and see if you could get them to repair it for a decent price. If neither of those works, I'm new to the actual under-the-hood architecture of GPUs, so that would be the extent of my help.

I did. They tested the video card in their computer. It worked..... they advised me to bring my rig to their store so that they can fix my whole computer.

I also notice that the motherboard has 8 pin, but I'm using 4 pin in psu. has it anything to do with that?

A janky power configuration could do it. Try getting a bit of an upgrade for the PSU, maybe to a modular so you can pick which wires you'll need.

My psu is 600watts. Is that not enough? Sorry. I'm a newbie....

And it suddenly worked. I dont know why... I also expect the video card will not work AGAIN next time I boot my pc. ouch

Not working again. Should i change the psu to a 8pin psu? or put an adapater to a 4pin to make it a 8pin? thank you

I suspect the avr is blocking the power. doesn't it?

The PSU can power the computer fine, just you need different wires for it, which means you'd need a modular PSU or a PSU that you know has the right wires. Don't worry, we all start as newbies!

You have more than enough wattage than needed. Like turkey3_scratch said, I would return it. Since you said you bought this new, I would recommend you to replace it as soon as possible before it becomes too hard to return it.
