Hello everybody!

I am wondering about the final components to fit this Streaming only PC, not Gaming + Streaming, I will be HDMI-ing the game to a cap card to the streaming PC. First off, I have a whole crapton of high end spare parts laying around, and then some low end as well. I have

  • -some stock HP case that I can empty out
    -some 250ish watt power supply
-a couple sticks of random RAM
    -an Intel i5-4670K
    -an Asus Maximus Gene VI

So technically speaking, would this be enough for a streaming PC? The built in GFX on the CPU are plenty for simply monitoring. I'm pretty sure the CPU only uses 170ish watts under full load. Do I really need much more other than an HDD for the thing? And a capture card of course.

On that topic, what Cap Card should I go with? One of the 150ish 1080p30fps (AverMedia LGP Lite, Live Gamer HD, Elgato, etc), but I would personally prefer 1080p60fps, which only seems available in the Elgato HD60 and the AverMedia Extremecap U3. What do you recommend in terms of color quality, motion quality, and overall video (and maybe audio) quality?

Thank you very much for all replies,

There is a 400 watt evga psu for about 25 bucks that you should get. Just to be safe. Other than that make sure it has a good motherboard that allows good uploading speed. And I don't know anything about capture cards

The motherboard has nothing to do with upload speed.....

Yup, while I haven't done any extensive research on this...ethernet is ethernet, and if the mobo has ethernet...it kinda has ethernet.
