I bought an internal Hard Disk of WD 1T Green and want to install windows 7, but can't see anything except an unallocated partition of 31 MB with all required options disabled on the window except 'Load Drivers, Expand and New'. Also seeing 'Windows can't be installed on this disk' at the bottom line. Please guide me.

Solution
Hey there, Shaiju Mk!

I'm very sorry to hear about your WD Green. I'd suggest to follow the steps of first: initializing the drive and second: partitioning and formatting it.
Here are a couple of tutorials from our KB that might be useful to you.
How to initialize your drive: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=7iWRZL
How to partition and format your WD HDD: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=vdG6Mz

If it's your only boot drive, try plugging the drive to a different SATA port on the motherboard and make sure that you've enabled the ports in BIOS.
Afterwards attempt the Windows installation again.

Keep me posted! Hope this helps!
