Hello.

I just finished building a new PC and ran into an issue. When I turn it on, all the fans work, but absolutely nothing shows up on the monitor. I can't even enter the BIOS.

The wires are attached properly (24-pin and 4-pin connectors from the PSU to the motherboard, 2x6-pin connectors to the GPU, 4-pin CPU fan and all the connectors from the case).

Frankly, I have no idea what to do next.

Here are the specs:

Motherboard: ASRock FM2A78M-DG3+
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon R9 270 2GB (GV-R9270OC-2GD)
CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K Black Edition
RAM: 8GB DDR3-1333 CL9 240-pin UDIMM Kit (2x4GB) (HX313C9FK2/8)
PSU: Chieftec CTG-650C

Any help would be much appreciated.

P.S. I have read and followed the steps in that "PERFORM THESE STEPS" thread. That didn't help.

EDIT: I did try putting the GPU and both RAM sticks into another PC. They seem to work. So maybe the issue is with the motherboard or the CPU?

It has two DVI ports, but I can only connect to the first one. The second requires a slightly different connector.

EDIT: I mean it has a DVI-I port and a DVI-D port. I can only connect to the DVI-I port. Would connecting to the other change something? I would have to go and buy the necessary cable to be able to connect.
