Hey i just overclocked my CPU to 4.5GHz and stress tested it with Intel Burn Test, IBT, and the core temp peeked at 80C. Is my cpu stable or do i need to adjust something also is 80C too much?

Voltage is 1.2

BTW my cooler is Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

The Hyper 212 + and Hyper 212 Evo got reputations as great coolers because Sandy Bridge chips ran so cool and were such great overclockers. The word never seemed to have gotten out that Ivy Bridge and especially Haswell need much better cooling. If you had a high end cooler those temps would be 5-7C lower and that would be fine. But I agree with the above post. Keep it under 75C.
