Solution

I couldn't find the 1100 on the pc part picker list, so I just put the next version on it. I recommend the aftermarket cooler because the stock ones for the i5's and i7's tend to be garbage, although the i3 ones are pretty decent. It also does leave room just in case you get curious and want to overclock a little, trust me you might :). I also chose the pro 4 over the pro 3...

Go for the 4690k and a 212 Evo cpu cooler. You can easily overclock this on the z97m pro 4 with no problems.

Thanks for the reply, are the stock coolers really that bad? I'm not looking into overclocking immediately, maybe in the latter part of this builds life right before an upgrade. Also, what's the real difference performance-wise of the pro4 and the pro3 mobos? And lastly, what's the real difference between the antec 1100 and the v2? Thanks for your time mate

I also chose the pro 4 over the pro 3 because it is a highly rated board that is super reliable and comes in cheap, and will offer you all the features you want.
