I was browsing on amazon and the prices for my components are still ridiculously overpriced.

My system:

4770k @ 4.2ghz
Sabertooth Z87
GTX 780 Classified 2-way SLI
H100i Water cooler
32gb 2133mhz Corsair Vengeance RAM
Corsair Air 540
Corsair ax1200i
Samsung 840 EVO 500gb SSD
1tb Seagate HDD (don't remember which one)
And a 500gb WD black HDD

I wouldn't expect to get anything lower than 1600 for this as a whole. Thanks in advanced.

I have a Sound Blaster ZxR too, I doubt I'll sell that but I might.

If I missed anything let me know please

Those are asking prices essentially. What they actually sell for is an entirely different matter. And a lot of people use ebay as a storefront.

Doesn't really change what it is you are selling. If you can convince someone to buy it for that price, by all means.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($339.99 @ Directron)
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($99.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z87 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($183.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-2133 Memory ($374.99 @ Amazon)...

All used, so you aren't going to be getting retail prices. And pretty much everything here is still available for purchase brand new. The build comes to about $1600 new, so you aren't going to see that. Might ask something like $1200.

That's of course failing to take depreciation into account. An actual system using the deprecation formula ((price - salvage value / life of system) * (mo/yr of sale)) would look something like this:

Price: $1750
Years owned: 2
Salvage value: $500

Year one: ($1750 - $500) / 2 = $625
$1750 - $625 = $1125

Year two (if selling in February) : $1125 - ($625 *2/12) = $1020.83

So you can expect your system to sell for around that rate.
