So I recently decided to upgrade from 8GB(2x4GB) of RAM to 16GB(4x 4GB) of RAM. The transition caused my hardware reserve to become half of my installed memory. I have 16.0GB(7.95GB usable). See picture:

I have an MSI 970A-G43 motherboard. I'm using the Click BIOS 2. The ram I have purchased is here I have 4 of those sticks, all brand new. I have tried everything from MSConfig turning off max memory, reorienting the ram, even resetting the CMOS. If anyone can help me, please reply.

Check in the BIOS if there is any Memory remapping option if it is "ON" then switch "OFF" and vice-versa.

Check if the integrated graphics is using that memory, if yes then try denying it.

If none of the above work it is most likely caused by the brand of the memory you are using. Get a good memory (different brand) from a retailer with good return and refund policy.

P.S - Do you get the this limitation if you install three 4GB modules and with just two modules? If you haven't tried it then please do so.
