Looking at buying an Epson printer and I am pricing out OEM and generic replacement ink cartridges.

I am looking at the following printer
Epson WF-2660

I cannot find much in the way of ink for the WF-2660.
The ink cartridge series is T220*** or T220xl*** (3*'s denote color type)

Not much on eBay when I search for ink using "Epson T220" or for "Epson 220"
Lots of ink with "Epson T200" and "Epson 200"

I assume that the T200 series is an "older" cartridge tech that the T220 replaces now?

Question:
Is there any interchangeability amongst Epson ink cartridges?

I.E. Will a T200 cart work with a T220 printer AKA will a T2***** series work in any and all that accept that series?

Thanks

The T220 cardridge are only compatible with WorkForce WF-2630, WorkForce WF-2650 and WorkForce WF-2660.

The T200 cardridge are only compatible with Expression Home XP-200, XP-300, XP-400, and WorkForce WF-2520, WF-2530, and WF-2540.

The conclusio is that you cannot interchange these cardridge. Hope I answered well to you question.

Edit: Conclusion ****

Thanks for the replies.

I understand that the printer I am looking to buy (WF-2660) takes the T220 series carts (according to the manufacturer)
And I am also aware that other printers in the WF family take the T220 carts.
And finally I know where where to buy OEM carts (Staples, Epson, etc.)

I am more wondering if anyone has tried or know for sure that T200 carts will work with a T220 machine?

The pictures that I have found (not very many exist of cart outside the box) of both the T200 and T220 carts make them appear very similar in size and shape (which is what led me to my question)

If they are similar size and shape then maybe what may or may not make them compatible is the circuit board on the cart?
Kinda like Gen. 1 and Gen. 2 HP 61 among others.
Maybe that could be the answer?

I have the exact same question and wonder if you ever found out. The price on compatible T200 I can get is very low and don't want to spend more.
