Is it worth upgrading my old PC?

Hello,

I have my PC over 5 years I guess and now it is sometimes lagging while doing simple things like browsing. PC's specs:
AMD Phenom II X2 550
GeForge 9600GT
4GB RAM
1TB HDD.

This would be a good upgrade. Especially when you're just doing basic stuff. It'll give your rig some solid speed in loading everthing. An extra 4GB of RAM wouldn't hurt either, especially if paired with a SSD. When you starting wondering about CPU and GPU, you're pretty limited on what you can do... you could have bottle necking issues too if you upgraded to new hardware. Just depends on what you want to spend $ on. :) Amazon has some killer deals on SSD's right now too. Amazon SSD's You wouldn't need anything big to run Windows and your everyday programs off of.
