I'm looking to convert to water cooling for my Maximus VII Formula ( board and cpu ) and I have a HAF 912 case which mean I don't have much free space. I am pretty much set for a Phobya Xtreme 200 on the top of my case as radiator. The dilema is for the pump/reservoir, here are my top picks : ( keep in mind I only have one drive bay free )

- Xspc single bay reservoir with D5 vario pump placed over hard drives instead of the removable hard drive trays. ( no capacity listed for the reservoir, but one with a pump holds 140ml so I'm guessing around 200 - 280ml )

- All in one Xspc DDC single drive bay reservoir/pump combo

- D5 reservoir tank with according pump placed instead of the removable hard drive trays once again

I am open to sugestions, but at the risk of repeating myself, keep in mind I have very little room in my HAF 912.

Solution
Drive bay reservoirs tend to rattle and also have been known to leak as the result of acrylic adhesive failures from certain coolant additives.

I'd offer up the Swiftech H220-X / H240-X as an alternative. Other than that, I'd try and fit a small internal cylinder type reservoir / pump combo....something like the EK, Swiftech or XSPC setups you'll see here:

AFAIK, FCPU is "temporarily closed for business" and everyone's wondering if they will re-open (I haven't been checking) but it's still the bast website to browse for what's available out there.

Getting back tot the Swiftech setups above, they are...

Getting back tot the Swiftech setups above, they are basically a set of Swiftechs custom water cooling components, pre-assembled for you.

But a coupla fittings (whether you'll need tube is questionable) for the MoBo Block and your done.

Solution
For the small ones, I like EK and / or Swiftech

Here's a pic that should give ya some ideas ... and no, I still haven't sleeved the cables :)

I love that build, but since I have a small case, I don't have any room between my MB and the drive bays for a res like that. If I get a reservoir it will have to be between my ssd and my gpu or between my hdd and drive bays.
