Mother Board Screen Problems

So I bought a Sabertooth motherboard Z97 Mark 2 and I finished connecting everything in my motherboard and when I hook up a video cable the screen says that nothing is hooked up. It didn't work for an HDMI, DVI nor a VGA. Can someone tell me what's wrong?
And I have a XFX Radeon R9 290 4GB Double Dissipation Video Card.

What is the entire component list?

Have you installed all of the motherboard drivers?

Have you tried the integrated graphics?
