Last night while i was using my pc, it suddenly started to flicker a little. Didnt know what was wrong, thinking it was the cable that came loose, i tried to adjust it. The started to flicker a little more, stopped flickering and flickering again. After about a minute the screen just went blank, i could still see lights but the screen was black and blank, no cursor, nothing.
I hard reset the pc and the normal windows 7 loading screen appears but as soon as it loaded the screen turned black and it just didnt show anything. The system was still running, my keyboard and mouse was still lit up. I checked the gpu it was running fine, the fans were working normally.
So....basically it works when i go into safe mode, it works in normal mode when i disable video card driver.
As soon as i enable and re boot, same thing happens. Ive had this pc for about 1 year now, its custom built.
Im using asus r9 270x. Ive tried to do automatic update with windows but it keeps saying its at the latest version. I tried to change cables from, initially, a hdmi-dvii to a hdmi-hdmi one, same thing. If anyone knows a solution please let me know i will really appreciate it. Im not really a pc expert so pardon me if i use wrong terms and such.
