Getting terrible performance when I replace HP 15K SAS drives with Segate 15 SAS drives? If I setup two raid 1 arrays on the same controller I get 92MBps writting to array made of HP and 8MBps to the one with Segate. What am I doing wrong! I am using esxi vmkfstools -i to copy a 40gb file, on an offline server. I have wipped and created new raid 1 arrays!

What kind of RAID Controller do you have? You may not have Write back with BBU enabled on that RAID Array which can cause super slow speeds. had one client with a RAID 5 and it was slow. Like 15-20 MBps. Then once I enabled Write Back with BBU and restarted the server BAMN getting the 80 or MBps
