Hey, I recently built this computer but the problem is nothing is showing on the screen. Here are the specs
990 fx sabertooth r2.0
AMD fx 8350 processor
H60 cooling corsair
Sapphire 7950 pcie 3 GB graphics card
Ram is 1333 ddr3.
Power supply ax750
It turns on just fine, I don't smell anything burning so I assume is good. Anyways there is a red light on, on the sdram led. There is no light on the cpu. And there is a green light on the bottom. This motherboard is updated to the latest BIOS. Any reason why it's not displaying anything

Solution
It definitely will the ram is not passing the check test. which ram did you get. I had this issue on my sabertooth until I realized I needed to place my two ram sticks in the tan mem slots and then it POST fine

I tried the ram in different sits 1 module at a time. I click the "mem ok" button and it starts flashing red on the memory light. Do you think the RAM can prevent the motherboard from even displaying the BIOS?

Well at first i was using some cheap Intel RAM 1333 DDR3 and those didn't work. Tried using channel A and B. Finally today I got my corsair vengance 2x8 GB 1600 DDR3 RAM. Right now I just tried connecting one at a time. That didn't work either unfortinately. It's a solid red light but when i click on "ramok" button it starts flashing red for a while, the CPU light turns on when i press the button but it only flashes like 2 times and then turns off, while the MEMOK button keeps flashing for a while, I don't hear any beeps or anything from the motherboard, I'm using HDMI as a connection to my monitor and computer, I don't think it will make a difference at this point to use VGA or HDMI. I'm running out of options and it sucks because these parts were pricey. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I just don't know what it is

I found out the problem, I tried every slot combination except for this last option, which is installing the modules in the last slots of the motherboard next to each other, not separated or individually.
