Could anyone help me to optimize and proof my system? The system is for my dad, he wants to use it for video and photo editting. any suggestions or ideas to optimize it?

Thanks for your help!

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K BOX (LGA 1150, 4GHz, Unlocked)
GraCa: ASUS GTX-750 Ti OC 2GB GDDR5, PCI-E x16 (2GB)
RAM: HyperX Fury Black (2x, 8GB, DDR3-1600, DIMM 240)
Motherboard: ASUS Z97 PRO Gamer (LGA 1150, Intel Z97, ATX)
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO Basic (250GB, 2.5")
HDD: Seagate Desktop (3000GB, 3.5", Desktop)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Shadow Rock Slim (16.10cm)
Power pack: be quiet! Straight Power E10 CM (800W)

Solution
The build as listed would only dissipate like 200W at PEAK load, so I'm not sure what the 800W PSU is for.... anyway....

--------------------

Alternative approach for a similar budget:

CPU: E3-1231 V3
HSF: Arctic Freezer 13 CO
MOBO: ASRock Rack C226M WS
RAM: 2X 8GB Crucial/Kingston/Samsung ECC DDR3 UDIMM's.
GPU: To be selected based on the specific software that will be used. (different GPUs and API implementations and support are better for different software).
SSD: Sandisk X110 256GB
Storage: Seagate ST3000NM0033
PSU: Seasonic SS-460FL2
Case: Fractal Design Arc Mini R2

You could get away with the 650W PSU but getting the 850 will future proof the system just in case you want to add a more powerful graphics card later down the line, other than that it looks a very strong system!

i think i'll stick with the x-650 the system is for my dad and the 2gb graphics are stronger than he needs it...
