display flickering then goes black HD 5770

hi My HD 5770 worked fine for the last 4 years, but for some reason the display has started flickering then goes black then the graphics card fan goes crazy and I have to reboot the PC the on board mother board display works fine but the graphics card does not HELP pleas

i have a dell studio xps 8100
6GB ram
intel(R) Core(TM)i5 CPU 650 3.20GHz
windows 7 64-bit
500W Corsair power supply
Sapphire 11163-02-20R HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 PCIE Graphics Card

The hd5770 may overheat, check the temp by HWMonitor http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html If it did, take it out to clear the dust. If it does not, it maybe has problem. And try it in other PC.

It starts doing the flickering straight away, then goes blank after a while I have cleaned all the dust off the graphics card and the PC and have put new heat sink paste in it but its still doing it and it is not overheating heres a video of what it does https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaC5BIo_qB4 ? !!

The hd5770 looks like going to die, if you have other pc then try the GPU in it or in your friend pc, because you try use the onboard iGPU already, that tell you other parts are fine.

Thank you all for the help I updated my drivers and it still does it so I guess it's time to upgrade my graphics card
