I have done every step as listed but windows 8.1 will not accept the account server mail.lcn.com.

Im trying to add my business email address to my windows 8.1 desktop pc.
I have done every step as listed methodically but it will not accept the server:
mail.lcn.com.
can anyone help with the answer

- What mail client are you using? (Outlook, Thunderbird, Live Mail etc)

- What is the error you receive?

- What are these steps you mention? Don't give us your email address or password but useful information would be things like...

Incoming mail server
Port number
Is SSL/TLS enabled
What is the account type? IMAP, POP3, Exchange?
