1) Disable one, two, or three cores in the BIOS until the PC runs fine.

3) Buy the new MB.

Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P or Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0, or MSI 970 GAMING ATX AM3+, if you can buy the 990 chipset AM3+ then they are the best one. Like Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 or Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z but not the Asrock 990fx extreme3 or Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3.

The msi 970 Gaming is good one. The 990 chipset is better for OCing with higher quality components and multi GPU support like sli or cf. Most of 970 MBs can only CF, but msi 970 Gaming can sli and cf too.

I don't have this MB, but from one of review, you can use it oc the fx8350 to 4.5ghz with the good aftermarket cpu cooler.
