Basically, it black screens when ever its in this laptop. But the RAM works fine in his other laptop. He says that the RAM slot is fine and that there is not any kind of settings in the BIOs to mess with.. Even google shows the RAM is compatible with it.. It's CL3 DDR3 Crucial RAM. He tried isolating the problem it just came to this stick of ram.. did the whole take everything out and stuff. Is there a chance his MOBO just hates the stick of RAM? Maybe the older chipset doesn't like newer types of RAM?
