This is a problem I've been having for a while and I'm not sure what is causing it. I have my computer enter sleep after 30 minutes, but then it won't wake up, and the only thing that works is clearing the cmos or waiting for a few hours. Hibernation mode is off but I would like to keep sleep enabled. I'm using a samsung ssd and I just disabled 'turn off hard disk' in the power settings so hopefully that will fix it.

What could be causing this and how do i fix it? Thank you

Solution
Try a different level of Sleep State (S1,S3,S4 etc) in your BIOS options, perhaps your PSU is not compatible with the current sleep state your BIOS is attempting to use.
