Hi, I have a motherboard with 4 slots available to put ram in. I have the following:

two 2GB sticks of 'mushkin' ram 1.65V ddr3 1333
one 4GB stick of 'hyper fury' something or other 1.5v ddr3 1600

basically i can get any two sticks to work in any two slots without problem (the best i can do at the moment is one 2gb and the 4gb stick in any two slots), but as soon as a third stick is stuck in there the computer boots up but only recognizes the two 2GB sticks. so basically all three sticks of ram work, and all four slots work, but i can't get everything to work all at once.

i am sure there are still combinations that i haven't tried, but was wondering if anyone might know what's going on?

it says 'Asus LGA1155'. I hope that's the thing you're looking for, I'm not really sure how to identify the motherboard other than it's the 'biggest' thing in the computer.

Not an answer, but I'm having the same issue too with my 990fxa UD5 motherboard. I've got 3x4GB sticks and I can run any two together but never all three. I end up getting just a blank screen but PC seems to be booting in the background.
Update: So I unganged in the bios and now my PC will boot with the 3 sticks but windows won't recognise them correctly. 'System' tells me I have 10GB with 8GB usable, CPUZ tells me I've 12GB and task Manager shows 8GB.. AHH!!

The motherbd model# will be silkscreened on the motherbd usually between two of the ports . See this for examples:
