CPU Replacement Help

I am planning on switching out my CPU in my PC and was wondering if I do switch out my CPU will it delete any of the data on my PC or can I just replace it without worrying.

No data is stored on the CPU. As long as it's the same socket model it's as simple as swapping the two over

No worries ! The data are on storage as hdd and ssd . System data in BIOS

No, it won't delete any of your data, but.....

Changing from what, to what? A reinstall of the OS may be necessary, depending on what you are actually wanting.
